You know those little ads you get on the right of your Facebook profile? Some are a bit ridiculous. This is a particular fave of mine.

It’s not overly vulgar or funny, but it amuses me. I don’t think Jesus would be too fond of them whoring themselves out on facebook asking if they’re your wife. You don’t spritz Holy Water on the first date!

Here’s an interesting story for you. Guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani is suing “the world’s favorite but possibly the world’s most boring band” Coldplay for ripping off part of his song “If I Could fly” in the title track from their newest album Viva La Vida.

The most interesting part about it is that ‘ol Satch may actually have a case. Check it…

It’ll definitely be worthwhile to keep up with these developments.

There’s a really cool version of “Old Enough” floating around now, that shows Jack White & Co. playing a bluegrassy version of the song with country legend Ricky Scaggs and newcomer Ashley Monroe. There are smiles a-plenty and the song is good enough to rival the original, which of course appears on Consolers of the Lonely.

Check it out here.

You can get the song digitally from Amazon starting today, and it’ll show up at other digital outlets on 12/9. It’s also coming out on CD that same day, and on 7″ on 12/16.
