I saw Slumdog Millionaire a couple of weeks ago during the Austin Film Festival, and was lucky enough to interview director Danny Boyle (28 Days Later, Sunshine, Trainspotting) the next day. The genre-jumping director has made another masterpiece with this film, which follows the life of a boy on the Indian version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.” Every detail of his heartbreaking life has given him an answer to a question on the show, but he’s not there for the money, he’s there because he hopes his one true love is watching.

The movie is emotional, intense, and probably one of the best you’ll see. Watch the trailer here.
