Somehow, this is an artist that’s slipped under my radar for most of her career, as I honestly can’t recall knowing anything about her. She’s got a nice country-tinged brand of folk. Good for a rainy day.

Pretty good little singer/songwriter who of course got big from his cover of “Such Great Heights” that was featured on the Garden State soundtrack. He can be a bit boring at times, but when he’s good, he’s good.

Neko Case’s voice reminds me a lot of Grace Slick for some reason. Not necessarily the same music, but the vibe that I get from listening to her.

Irish singer/songwriter duo with some pretty beautiful sounding stuff. Kinda reminds me of a more classically oriented version of Damien Rice. It’s pretty good.

They’ve been playing this group a lot on the alternative rock station on Sirius. I can’t really decide if I like it or not, but maybe the fact that I can’t decide is my answer. I don’t hate it, but it’s not really something I want to go out of my way to listen to either. Pretty standard pop fare here.

I’ve never enjoyed GB, and I won’t start now. I also find it hilarious that comments for the posted song say it’s the “greatest song ever.”
