New Disturbed video is actually pretty disturbing May 2, 2008

Disturbed have premiered the video for the single “Inside the Fire” from their upcoming album Indestructible, and it’s pretty intense. The subject matter of the song deals with the suicide of a close friend that singer David Draiman encountered many years ago.

A short clip of Draiman warning viewers about the content and urging people to call the Suicide Prevention Hotline if they’re having issues plays before the video. Disturbed fan or not, this is a fairly controversial video, and worth checking out.

Yeah, I got a few seconds into the actual video then closed the window. Suicide is something I don’t like to watch.

That’s cool that Disturbed has a message to their video. A lot of people who listen to Disturbed probably are disturbed, and maybe that dude can help.

Also, props to you, Rob, for deliberately seeking out Disturbed videos.

Haha, I didn’t deliberately seek it out, it just showed up on an RSS I subscribe to. But yeah, I actually kinda respect them for putting meaning into their tunes.
